AD5370BCPZ 40-Channel 16-Bit Voltage Output DAC Integrated Circuit Chip 64-Lead LFCSP

The AD5370BCPZ is a 40-channel, 16-bit, serial input, voltage output digital-to-analog converter for very high channel count analogue systems. All channels are guaranteed monotonic to 16 bits and each has a programmable gain and offset adjust register, enabling full system calibration.

The output span can reach four times the reference voltage, with a nominal -4 V to +8 V range, and supplies may be set from -16.5 V to -4.5 V on VSS and 9 V to 16.5 V on VDD. Output amplifiers require 1.4 V headroom at 1 mA, and a thermal shutdown function protects the device.

The AD5370BCPZ offers a high speed SPI-compatible serial interface supporting QSPI, MICROWIRE and DSP formats up to 50 MHz, with channel grouping and addressing features that simplify writes to large output arrays. A 2.5 V to 5.5 V digital interface and simultaneous LDAC update complete the control scheme. It is supplied in a 64-lead LFCSP with exposed pad.

The AD5370 family covers several resolution, reference and package options. Because AD5370 devices are pin and software compatible within each package group, a design can move between AD5370 variants without rewriting firmware.
