AD5370BSTZ 40-Channel 16-Bit Voltage Output DAC Integrated Circuit Chip 64-Lead LQFP

The AD5370BSTZ is a 40-channel, 16-bit, voltage output digital-to-analog converter with a serial input, intended for dense analogue output cards. Every channel is monotonic to 16 bits and carries gain and offset adjust registers for in-system calibration.

With a nominal output span of -4 V to +8 V and a maximum of four times the reference, the device covers a wide industrial level range. Supplies are -16.5 V to -4.5 V on VSS and 9 V to 16.5 V on VDD, and the output amplifiers need 1.4 V headroom at 1 mA load.

The AD5370BSTZ provides a high speed serial interface compatible with SPI, QSPI, MICROWIRE and DSP standards up to 50 MHz, along with channel grouping and addressing to ease large array updates. A 2.5 V to 5.5 V digital interface, thermal shutdown and simultaneous LDAC update complete the part, which is supplied in a 64-lead LQFP.

Because AD5370 devices are pin and software compatible within each package group, a design can move between AD5370 variants without rewriting firmware.
