AD5321BRMZ 12-Bit Voltage Output DAC Integrated Circuit Chip 8-Lead MSOP

The AD5321BRMZ is a single-channel, 12-bit, buffered voltage output digital-to-analog converter operating from a 2.5 V to 5.5 V supply. The output amplifier swings rail to rail, and the reference is derived from the power supply, so a complete 12-bit control voltage is available without external reference components.

Supply current is only 120 uA at 3 V, which makes the AD5321BRMZ suitable for battery-powered and space-constrained equipment. A two-wire I2C-compatible serial interface runs at clock rates up to 400 kHz, and multiple devices can share the same bus for multi-node control.

A power-on reset circuit brings the output to 0 V at power-up and holds it there until a valid write is received. Supplied in an 8-lead MSOP and also available in a 6-lead SOT-23, the AD5321BRMZ fits programmable voltage and current sources, programmable attenuators, threshold generation and compact trim circuits.

The AD5321 family covers several resolution, reference and package options. Because AD5321 devices are pin and software compatible within each package group, a design can move between AD5321 variants without rewriting firmware.
