The AD5570YRSZ is a 16-bit, serial input, voltage output digital-to-analog converter offering 1 LSB maximum INL and DNL across the full industrial temperature range. Its output amplifier supports plus or minus 12 V and plus or minus 15 V spans for direct bipolar control.

Reference buffers are integrated on chip, so no negative reference source is needed and the analogue supply chain stays compact. The DAC settles to 0.003% in 10 us, and the serial data output supports daisy-chaining of multiple devices.

A three-wire serial interface compatible with SPI, QSPI, MICROWIRE and DSP standards handles device control. The Y grade is specified from -40 degrees C to +125 degrees C and packaged in a 16-lead SSOP, making the AD5570YRSZ suitable for harsh industrial and instrumentation environments.

The AD5570 family covers several resolution, reference and package options. Because AD5570 devices are pin and software compatible within each package group, a design can move between AD5570 variants without rewriting firmware.
