AD5320BRMZ 12-Bit Voltage Output DAC Integrated Circuit Chip 8-Lead MSOP

The AD5320BRMZ is a single-channel, 12-bit, rail-to-rail voltage output digital-to-analog converter operating from a 2.7 V to 5.5 V supply. The reference is taken from the supply, so the output spans the full rail without an external reference device.

Supply current is only 140 uA at 5 V, making the AD5320BRMZ suitable for portable and battery-powered instruments. The low power serial interface uses Schmitt-triggered inputs and is compatible with SPI, QSPI and DSP standards.

A power-on reset circuit holds the output at 0 V until a valid write, preventing unwanted transients at startup. Supplied in an 8-lead MSOP (also available in a 6-lead SOT-23), the AD5320BRMZ fits precision bias, threshold and trim functions in compact boards.

The AD5320 family covers several resolution, reference and package options. Because AD5320 devices are pin and software compatible within each package group, a design can move between AD5320 variants without rewriting firmware.
