AD5452YRMZ 12-Bit High Bandwidth Multiplying DAC with Serial Interface, 8-Lead MSOP

The AD5452YRMZ is a 12-bit, current output, multiplying digital-to-analog converter for applications that scale a live analogue signal instead of a fixed reference. It accepts a plus or minus 10 V reference input and performs four-quadrant multiplication.

Operating from a 2.5 V to 5.5 V supply, the device consumes only sub-microamp typical current and provides a multiplying bandwidth of up to 12 MHz. The 50 MHz serial interface allows fast code updates and is compatible with SPI, QSPI and MICROWIRE control.

Specified from -40 degrees C to +125 degrees C and supplied in a 8-Lead MSOP, the AD5452YRMZ is pin compatible with the other resolution options in the same family, so a design can move to higher resolution without a layout change. Typical uses include programmable gain, attenuation and modulation.

The AD5452 family covers several resolution, reference and package options. Because AD5452 devices are pin and software compatible within each package group, a design can move between AD5452 variants without rewriting firmware.
