AD5660ARJZ-2 16-Bit Voltage Output DAC Integrated Circuit Chip 8-Lead SOT-23

The AD5660ARJZ-2 is a single-channel, 16-bit, buffered voltage output digital-to-analog converter with an on-chip reference. It operates from a 3 V or 5 V single supply and is guaranteed 16-bit monotonic by design, with 12-bit accuracy guaranteed.

The integrated 1.25 V or 2.5 V reference is specified at 5 ppm/degrees C, and the -1, -2 and -3 ordering options select the reference value and output gain combination for the required full-scale span. The output amplifier swings rail to rail and drives loads directly.

Programming is through a serial interface compatible with SPI, QSPI, MICROWIRE and DSP standards, and a power-on reset circuit brings the output to zero scale at startup. The A grade is supplied in a 8-lead SOT-23, making the AD5660ARJZ-2 suitable for precision trim, bias and control in compact instruments.

The AD5660 family covers several resolution, reference and package options. Because AD5660 devices are pin and software compatible within each package group, a design can move between AD5660 variants without rewriting firmware.
