The LTC2633AHTS8-HZ12 is a dual channel 12-bit I2C DAC in an 8-lead TSOT-23 package from the LTC2633 series. With its 4.096 V internal reference the device provides two buffered outputs that span a wide analog control range without external gain stages.

The LTC2633AHTS8-HZ12 reference is specified at 10 ppm per degree C, and A grade integral nonlinearity is plus or minus 1.5 LSB maximum. LTC2633 output noise is 0.75 mV peak to peak over 0.1 Hz to 200 kHz, and monotonic operation is guaranteed across -40 C to +125 C.

The I2C port writes into double-buffered latches, so the LTC2633 can update both channels at once or change one while the other holds. Power-on reset choices of zero scale, midscale or high impedance set a defined output before the first I2C transaction.

The LTC2633AHTS8-HZ12 runs from 2.7 V to 5.5 V with 0.4 mA typical supply current at 3 V. When a system reference is available, the LTC2633 internal reference can be overdriven so both channels track the same full-scale voltage.
