LTC2654BCGN-L16 16-Bit 4-Channel DAC, 16-Lead SSOP

The LTC2654BCGN-L16 is a quad 16-bit voltage output digital to analog converter from the LTC2654 series, supplied in a 16-Lead SSOP package. Four buffered outputs and an internal reference are integrated, which reduces the part count of multi-channel control cards.

The LTC2654BCGN-L16 provides a 2.5 V full scale output from its on-chip reference, with a 10 ppm per degree C temperature coefficient. Integral nonlinearity is specified for the full 16-bit code range, and the outputs are guaranteed monotonic over the rated temperature range. This is the linearity bin published for the LTC2654.

Each channel of the LTC2654BCGN-L16 has a double-buffered data latch, so codes can be loaded and then updated together or independently through the SPI port. Power-on reset places the outputs at a defined state before the first command arrives.

The LTC2654BCGN-L16 operates from a 2.7 V to 5.5 V supply and draws low quiescent current, suiting compact control and calibration boards. The 16-Lead SSOP outline keeps four channels inside a footprint that would otherwise hold two single converters. Interface timing for the LTC2654 is specified in the manufacturer data sheet.
