DS1868BE-010 Dual 256-Position Digital Potentiometers Digital To Analog Converting IC PDIP-14 Integrated Circuit Chip

The DS1868BE-010 is a dual 256-position digital potentiometer in 14-Pin PDIP, with an EEPROM that keeps both wiper settings when power is removed. The -010 option sets each element to 10 kilohms.

Wipers are written and read back through a 3-wire serial port, and the integrated EEPROM removes the need for a backup supply or a separate non-volatile memory in the calibration path.

Standby current is 1 microamp maximum, so the device can hold its settings in battery-backed equipment. Operation covers minus 40 to plus 85 degrees C on a single +5 V rail or plus or minus 3 V rails.

Because settings survive power cycles, the DS1868BE-010 is suited to factory calibration that must persist across field service and to products where the trim value is not recomputed at every boot.

The DS1868BE-010 is RoHS compliant and lead free, and every order ships with full traceability. Samples and volume pricing are available on request.
