AD5292BRUZ-50 TSSOP-14 Nonvolatile Digital Potentiometer Integrated Circuit Chip

The AD5292BRUZ-50 is a single-channel, 1024-position digital potentiometer in a TSSOP-14 package that replaces a mechanical trimmer with a solid state RDAC of the same function. Wiper position is written and read back over an SPI-compatible interface.

End-to-end resistance is 50 kilohm with a calibrated tolerance within plus or minus 1 percent, which allows the part to be used in open-loop divider and gain circuits without individual calibration. Rheostat mode temperature coefficient is 35 ppm per degree C, and 5 ppm per degree C in voltage divider mode.

This device operates over a wide analog supply range: +9 V to +33 V single supply, or plus or minus 9 V to plus or minus 16.5 V dual supply, so it fits industrial signal chains that a 5 V logic-level digipot cannot reach.

The setting is 20-TP nonvolatile memory, and the stored value is refreshed at power-on. Adjustment is unlimited before the final value is committed, and no external supply is needed for the programming step.
