LTC4314CGN SSOP-20 1:4 Two Wire Bus Multiplexer with Stuck Bus Recovery Integrated Circuit Chip

The LTC4314CGN is a hot swappable 1:4 two-wire bus multiplexer in a SSOP-20 package that lets one upstream bus reach any combination of 4 downstream channels, each switched by its own enable pin.

Bidirectional buffering keeps the capacitance of the upstream bus isolated from the downstream channels, so adding cards does not degrade rise time on the master side.

Level translation spans 1.5 V, 1.8 V, 2.5 V, 3.3 V and 5 V busses, and a three state ACC pin selects the accelerator current and the rising threshold so the part can be matched to each link.

If data and clock are not both high at least once in 45 ms while DISCEN is high, the part flags FAULT, disconnects the input from each enabled channel and issues up to 16 clocks on the enabled downstream busses to clear the stuck bus.
