The MAX14784EASD is a full duplex RS-485/RS-422 transceiver intended for industrial networks where the bus is exposed to cables, connectors and field wiring, and it protects the interface against the transients that come with that environment.

Data rate is up to 500kbps, and the driver and receiver meet the RS-485 common mode range so nodes stay interoperable on long buses. ±35kV HBM ESD protection on the RS-485 I/O ports Slew rate limited driver outputs for long cables

Integrated receiver deglitch filter for noise immunity 3.0V to 5.5V supply, 4mA no-load supply current 1/4 unit load, up to 128 transceivers on the bus
