Product Description
The AS5040-ASST is a 10-bit rotary position sensor designed for absolute angular measurement with incremental output over a full 360° rotation. Utilizing contactless magnetic sensor technology, this encoder is ideal for on-axis applications where a simple 2-pole magnet rotates above or below the sensor IC. The zero position can be programmed directly into the device, providing precise angular position measurement with 10-bit resolution (1024 positions per revolution). Digital output is available through both serial interface (SSI) and PWM output signal.
