GL850G Integrated Circuit Chip 480Mb/s USB 2.0 Hub Controller
The GL850G is a USB 2.0 Hub Controller that integrates both 5V to 3.3V and 3.3V to 1.8V voltage drop regulators into a single chip, eliminating the need for external LDO components. The power enable pin supports both high-enable and low-enable power switches, providing enhanced flexibility in component selection.
This controller features an embedded 8-bit RISC processor that manages control/status registers and responds to USB host requests. The firmware controls general purpose I/O (GPIO) to access external EEPROM, enabling customized PID and VID configuration as defined in the external EEPROM.
