IMX459 Sensor IC 1/2.9-inch Diagonal SPAD ToF Depth Sensor With Signal-Amplifying Pixels
The IMX459 is a 6.25-mm (1/2.9-inch) diagonal Single Photon Avalanche Diode (SPAD) ToF Depth Sensor featuring signal-amplifying pixels. It offers two readout modes (line mode and array mode) and supports various scanning methods. By arraying numerous SPADs and summing their outputs, the IMX459 achieves measurement distances up to 300 meters. Its light emission timing control function compensates for timing delays between laser emission and reception, while the ambient light elimination function prevents saturation even under direct sunlight, enabling high dynamic range distance measurements.
