MP9931GR Integrated Circuit Chip High-Voltage 100V Synchronous Step-Down Switching Regulator Controller

The MP9931GR is a high-voltage synchronous step-down switching regulator controller capable of directly stepping down voltages from up to 100V. This advanced controller drives dual N-channel MOSFETs and features an adaptive constant-on-time (COT) control architecture for fast transient response and simplified loop stabilization.

The DC auto-tune loop ensures excellent load and line regulation, while pulse-skip mode (PSM) and ultrasonic mode (USM) enable asynchronous operation to optimize light-load efficiency. Operating frequency can be configured via external resistor or synchronized to an external clock for noise-sensitive applications.

Comprehensive fault protections include precision input over-voltage protection (OVP), output over-current protection (OCP), and thermal shutdown. The MP9931GR is available in a compact QFN-23 (4mmx4mm) package.
