MC33771BTA1AER2 SMARTMOS Lithium-Ion Battery Cell Controller IC
The MC33771BTA1AER2 is a SMARTMOS lithium-ion battery cell controller IC designed for automotive applications including hybrid electric vehicles (HEV) and electric vehicles (EV), as well as industrial applications such as energy storage systems (ESS) and uninterruptible power supply (UPS) systems.
This IC performs ADC conversions of differential cell voltages and current, along with battery coulomb counting and temperature measurements. Data is transmitted digitally through Serial Peripheral Interface (SPI) or Transformer Isolation (TPL) to a microcontroller for processing.
