The ACT43850-101 is a compact, fast response, step down RFPoL (Point of Load) voltage regulator designed as a stage device for radar-type pulse load power supply solutions. When paired with the companion ACT43750 device, it forms a complete power supply solution for GaN/GaAs RF power amplifier (PA) devices requiring fast transient response and high current pulse load capabilities.

Product Overview

The ACT43850-101 regulates DC output constant voltage (CV) for PA drain power. This step-down (buck) DC-DC controller utilizes external power FET devices and operates as a fixed frequency, current-mode converter that provides stable regulation with low EMI and noise characteristics. Output voltage can be programmed via analog and/or I2C interfaces for both initialization default settings and dynamic target adjustments.
