Product Overview

The AWMF-0247 Ku-Band Quad 4x1 Tx/Rx Beamformer IC features TDD half-duplex capability, enabling both transmit and receive functions in a single device. This advanced capability allows flat panel SATCOM terminals to utilize a shared antenna aperture, significantly reducing system size and component count compared to traditional dual-antenna designs.

The Qorvo AWMF-0247 supports four antenna elements across the 13.75GHz to 14.5GHz transmit band and 10.7GHz to 12.75GHz receive band. The device combines adjustable power amplifier bias for efficient linear transmit power with low noise figure for enhanced receive sensitivity, delivering a compact, power-efficient solution ideal for low Earth orbit (LEO) and non-terrestrial network (NTN) terminals.
