The AD9914BCPZ is a high-performance direct digital synthesizer (DDS) featuring a 12-bit DAC. This advanced IC utilizes cutting-edge DDS technology combined with an internal high-speed, high-performance DAC to create a digitally programmable, complete high-frequency synthesizer capable of generating frequency-agile analog output sinusoidal waveforms at up to 1.4 GHz.

This synthesizer enables rapid frequency hopping and provides exceptional tuning resolution (64-bit capable using programmable modulus mode). The AD9914 also offers fast phase and amplitude hopping capabilities. Frequency tuning and control words are loaded into the device via serial or parallel input/output ports.
