Product Description Of TLE8263E

TLE8263E is monolithic integrated circuits in an enhanced power package with identical software functionality and hardware features except for the number of LIN cells. The devices are designed for CAN-LIN automotive applications e.g. body controller, gateway applications.

1. Integrated Core Functions

CAN Controller: High-speed HS-CAN, compatible with ISO 11898-2/-5 and SAE J2284, with a maximum data rate of 1 Mbps
LIN Controller: 3 independent LIN 2.1 transceivers, backwards compatible with LIN 1.3/2.0
Power Supply (LDO):
VCC1: 5V ±2%, 200mA, supplies the MCU
VCC2: 5V ±2%, 200mA, supplies the CAN or peripherals
VCC3: 5V ±4%, requires external PNP current sink, maximum 400mA
Monitoring Unit: Window/timeout watchdog, undervoltage reset, fault detection, Limp Home output
Communication Interface: 16-bit SPI (for configuration and status reading)
