CXD5254GG is a Stabilizer LSI Module that combines an image sensor and 6-axis inertial measurement unit (IMU) to perform electronic image stabilization (EIS). This advanced technology removes vibrations and maintains a level horizon in video input from the image sensor, outputting stabilized imagery with exceptional clarity.

The sophisticated attitude control algorithm reduces blurs caused by camera vibrations while achieving real-time horizon stabilization and suppression of "jello effect" video distortion. Enhanced with Sony's unique contrast improvement feature, the intelligent Picture Controller (iPC), this stabilizer enables cameras to clearly capture objects and information that were previously unrecognizable due to vibrations.
