AFBR-59F2Z is a compact 650nm fiber optic transceiver device designed to support serial data communications with baud rates up to 250 MBd over 2.2 mm of jacketed standard polymer optical fiber (POF). The device features simple bare fiber termination for POF and is Laser Class 1, lead-free, and RoHS compliant. The compact device footprint is comparable to that of the well-known RJ-45 connector.
