Product Overview

AFBR-5972EZ is a compact 650nm fiber optic transceiver with Compact Versatile Link Connector (Black), designed to support serial data communications with baud rates up to 250 MBd over standard bandwidth 0.5±0.05 NA POF and HCS fiber.

AFBR-5972EZ also supports IEEE 802.3u Fast Ethernet (100Mb/s) data communications. The device is built with a new compact Versatile Link connector that is compatible with existing simplex Versatile-Link connectors and features a very compact design with a form factor similar to the UTP connector.
