LTC4364CS-2 Surge Stopper with Ideal Diode Controller 4V to 80V Operating Voltage Reverse Input Protection to -40V Automotive Grade

The LTC4364CS-2 is a single-channel surge suppressor with an ideal diode controller, operating at voltages between 4 and 80 V. It withstands surges of up to 80 V and provides protection against input reverse voltages of up to -40 V and output reverse voltages of up to -20 V.

This device achieves near-zero voltage drop power supply via an external MOSFET, maintains output power during under-voltage conditions, and features adjustable fault timing and overcurrent shutdown with automatic restart following a fault with low duty cycle. Housed in a 16-SO surface-mount package, it is ideal for servo drives and main control power circuits in humanoid robots, suppressing voltage transients caused by motor start-stop cycles and cable disturbances.
