LTC4364HS-1 Automotive Grade 4V to 80V 750uA Surge Stopper IC with Ideal Diode Controller

LTC4364HS-1 is an automotive-grade general-purpose surge suppressor IC that integrates ideal diode control. Operating at voltages between 4 and 80 V, it can withstand high-voltage surges and provides protection against reverse input voltages down to -40 V.

It utilises an external MOSFET to enable adjustable overvoltage clamping, programmable overcurrent shutdown and undervoltage monitoring, and permanently locks out the output following a fault. The built-in ideal diode path replaces a Schottky diode, offering extremely low forward voltage drop and maintaining bus voltage during power-off or voltage sags.

It is suitable for lithium-ion battery power supply systems in humanoid robots, providing protection against power spikes caused by joint motor start-up and stop-up, multi-channel drive switching, reverse connection, under-voltage and short-circuit faults. It features a wide operating temperature range of -40°C to 125°C and low standby power consumption. The compact 16-SO package ensures stable and reliable power supply for robot controllers, servo drives and sensing sensors.
