IMX296 is a 1/2.9-inch, 1.58-megapixel square-pixel CMOS solid-state image sensor for colour cameras. Through the combination of a global shutter and a MIPI CSI-2 interface, it provides an ideal imaging solution for compact, high-speed vision systems.

IMX296 utilises a global shutter mode with variable charge integration time and is characterised by low power consumption, high sensitivity, low dark current and low PLS, making it suitable for sensing and embedded vision applications.
