The ASM1092 is a Serial ATA port multiplier controller that supports one host port and two device drives. It enables Serial ATA PHY with up to 6Gbps high-speed interface, following Serial ATA Revision 3.0 Specification. This controller provides complete CPU offloading and is designed for SATA port expansion in both internal systems and external storage applications.
