Product Overview Of MP87220
The MP87220 is a monolithic half-bridge with built-in internal power MOSFETs and gate drivers. It achieves up to 20A of continuous output current (IOUT) across a wide input supply range, and can operate from 100kHz to 1.5MHz.
The MP87220 offers comprehensive features to simplify system design. This device works with controllers featuring tri-state pulse-width modulation (PWM) signals. It integrates an accurate current sense to monitor the inductor current (IL) and a temperature sense to report the junction temperature (TJ).
Ideal for server applications where efficiency and compact size are critical, the MP87220 is available in a TLGA-30 (4mmx5mm) package.
