Product Overview Of MP87290

The MP87290 is a monolithic half-bridge Intelli-Phase™ solution with built-in internal power MOSFETs and gate drivers. It achieves up to 90A of continuous output current (IOUT) across a wide input supply voltage (VIN) range, and can operate from 100kHz to 1.5MHz. Quiet Switcher™ Technology (QST™) utilizes proprietary circuit design to suppress voltage ringing, limit peak switching voltages, improve device reliability, lower EMI, and reduce sensitivity to PCB layout.

The MP87290 offers comprehensive features to simplify system design, working with controllers featuring tri-state pulse-width modulation (PWM) signals. It integrates accurate current-sensing to monitor inductor current (IL) and temperature-sensing to report junction temperature (TJ).

Ideal for server applications where efficiency and small size are critical, the MP87290 is available in a TLGA-34 (4mmx6mm) package.
