Product Overview Of MP87006

The MP87006 is a monolithic half-bridge with built-in internal power MOSFETs and gate drivers. The MP87006 achieves 90A of continuous output current (IOUT) across a wide input supply range.

Quiet Switcher™ technology (QST™) utilizes a proprietary circuit design, achievable only in monolithic architecture, to suppress voltage ringing. This technology limits peak switching voltages to less than 3V above the input voltage (VIN), improves device reliability, lowers EMI emissions, and reduces sensitivity to the PCB layout.

The MP87006 offers many features to simplify system design. The MP87006 works with controllers with a tri-state pulse-width modulation (PWM) signal, and comes with an accurate current sense to monitor the inductor current (IL) and temperature sense to report the junction temperature (TJ).

The MP87006 is ideal for server applications where efficiency and small size are at a premium. The MP87006 is available in a TLGA-34 (4mmx6mm) package.
