Product Overview Of MP5990

The MP5990 is a fully integrated, compact, PMBus-compatible hot-swap protection device. It contains a hot-swap controller and a high-side power MOSFET (HS-FET), allowing it to operate as a standalone device. The MP5990 can also function as a hot-swap controller in parallel with the multi-phase MP5991. The device achieves up to 50A of continuous output current per device at room temperature, and up to 60A of continuous output current with airflow.
