LTC3805IDD Product Description:
The LTC3805IDD is a current-mode controller specifically designed to drive N-channel MOSFETs in high input/output voltage converter applications. Operating frequency and slope compensation are externally programmable via resistors. Programmable overcurrent detection protects the converter from short-circuit damage. Soft-start functionality is externally programmable via a capacitor, which also enables programmable auto-restart capability.
The LTC3805IDD delivers ±1.5% output voltage accuracy with a quiescent current of just 360μA during normal operation and 40μA during micro-power start-up. Featuring an integrated 9.5V shunt regulator, it can be powered from high input voltages via resistors or directly from low-impedance DC sources of 9V or less.
The LTC3805IDD is available in a 10-pin MSOP package and a 3mm × 3mm DFN package.
