DS125MB203SQ – The receiver's Continuous Timeline Linear Equaliser (CTLE) provides the necessary boost performance to compensate for up to 30 inches of FR-4 or 8M cable (AWG-24) at 12.5Gbps. This on-chip feature eliminates the need for external signal conditioning. The transmitter features programmable amplitude voltage levels selectable from 600 mVp-p to 1300 mVp-p, while achieving up to 12dB of de-emphasis.
The DS125MB203SQ can be configured to support PCIe, SAS/SATA, 10G-KR, or other signal transmission protocols. When operating in 10G-KR and PCIe Gen 3 modes, the DS125MB203SQ transparently permits the host controller and endpoint to optimise the entire link and negotiate transmit equalisation coefficients. This seamless management of the link negotiation protocol ensures system-level interoperability and minimises latency.
